Welcome to NucNet’s media room

Our aim is to help all sections of the media increase the speed and reliability of the world-wide nuclear information flow, and to accurately communicate essential information in language that can be easily understood by everyone.

NucNet’s news is sourced mainly from some 400 information suppliers at nuclear plant sites, utilities, fuel cycle companies, regulatory bodies, government ministries and research centres – to name just a few – world wide.

In most cases, our trusted contacts are directly linked to the network, which is based in Bern, Switzerland – where a team of experienced professionals, including journalists, scientists and other specialists work to edit quickly reports into an easy-to-read form before they are published.

NucNet only publishes fully authenticated facts – and our reputation for independence and accuracy is relied upon by around 50 of the world’s major news agencies, print media and radio and television stations in their coverage of nuclear issues.

Our media room archive contains all articles distributed to the media since the start of 2004. Access to the archive is free to accredited representatives of the media. To register and receive your password to use this service, or to ask for assistance or information on a specific nuclear-related topic, please e-mail - info@worldnuclear.org

E-mail inquiries usually receive a response within 24 hours. However, if your inquiry is urgent, please call NucNet’s newsdesk: +32-2-505-3055.
