France Launches Internet ‘Network’ On Radioactivity In Environment

5 Feb (NucNet): France’s nuclear safety authority (Autorité de Sûreté Nucléaire, ASN) and Institute of Radiological Protection and Nuclear Safety (IRSN) have launched a public internet site showing the life measurements of radioactivity.

ASN said the site – known as the national network of radioactivity in the environment (Réseau national de mesures de la radioactivité de l’environnement) – has been launched in order to centralise all relevant information and ensure transparency.
